Then and there...

I started out as a graphic artist back in the days of drafting tables, with 'blue-lines', 'positionals' and 'paste-up'. With the introduction of the computer into the designer's studio, and the rapid weaving of the World Wide Web, the graphic designer now has a virtual Pandora’s box of creative tools at thier displosal. It is a box that I found, once opened, intensely fascinating and endlessly engaging. I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the many facets that make up the world of graphic design and creative visual communication and continue to do so.

Working primarily as a graphic designer and illustrator I have been involved in a very broad range of projects and have built up a very comprehensive and diverse array of creative, and now digital, skills. I am also fortunate in being able to incorporate multiple illustration techniques, both digital and traditional, into my portfolio.

Here and now...

Although these days I tend to work more in the technical field, not exclusively but mostly since early 2009 in 'digital assets management'. Here you will gain an insight into the other things that I enjoy doing (or have enjoyed). Which include illustration and graphic design for print, the web, and interactive media. You will also find sub sites for some of the other creative projects that I'm involved in, the Swashbucklers children's books, and Flora~Exotica botanical images.
